Miss Andrea, I had to write to THANK YOU for all your great work. When Kristen began at 6 months old she was extremely shy and cautious around people and other children. She is a very sensitive little girl and would cry if another child even touched her.She is now 2 1/2 years old and she LOVES going to music class and seeing all her friends. My husband and I cannot believe how she has "come out of her shell". Even the other Moms in the group are all amazed at how she participates now. I fully believe signing her up for "music class" has been the best thing we could have done for her and will continue to do so.So again THANK YOU.

I cannot begin to tell you the joy you brought Frankie this past year at Musical Munchkins. He loved the experience with all of the instruments (wind, wood and of course your guitar), the fun running and jumping around to music, the silly lyrics you'd sing (Zolie) and who could forget the microphone! We listen to the CD often and sing along - it is great memories that were created with you. You made him feel very special each week and definitely left an impression in his heart. Thank you for your caring ways and professionalism in what you do.

Musical Munchkins is a wonderful educational program that every parent of a newborn to a preschooler will want

to put their children in. My daughter was part of Musical Munchkins with Miss Andrea from 9 months old until 4 1/2 yrs old and did not want to miss even one class. My son Samuel, who is now 2 1/2 is also now attending, and has been

going since he was a baby. Sabrina today is a very confident and social 2nd grader who enjoys piano, drums,

voice lessons, dance, and wants to play the violin. She is very creative and imaginative and loves to write

poems and makeup beautiful songs. She also does well in math and science, and is outgoing and very social.

I strongly believe that her ability to excel in all of these areas is directly attributable to going to

Musical Munchkins for the past 5 years. My son Samuel, 2 1/2, is also now attending. I have seen his

progress from a very shy toddler to a more confident and outgoing individual. Miss Andrea is talented

and has a wonderful way with children. I can't say enough good things about Musical Munchkins.

I had to write to tell you how much my children and I enjoy your classes. I have to admit that I joined mostly to make friends for myself, but it didn't take long to realize that they were getting so much out of Musical Munchkins. It has also given me my best material for feedings, car rides and baths. Your songs, stories and puppets have become part of our everyday lives yet sometimes it surprises me how much they have learned from your materials. Going to your class is like getting a dose of brain food for the week! I believe that Sarah's familiarity with her teacher and her munchkin friends helped her ease into pre-school successfully. I don't mind telling you that the teacher was amazing with the children.

My son Andreas has been in Musical Munchkins for the past 2-1/2 years. He started in the 1 year-old class and now is in the Young Musician's Class for 3 year-olds. He loves to sing and participate and is very focused--a skill he did not have when he first started. Miss Andrea is talented, enthusiastic, and the curriculum is creative and innovative enough to keep us coming back every year. It is a great positive learning experience.

I can't say enough about Musical Munchkins - it's just delightful! The teachers are well prepared and very enthusiastic and the curriculum is both engaging and entertaining. There are a great variety of musical experiences and activities incorporated into each session. One of the wonderful qualities of this program is that children and adults actively participate in each activity together. We thoroughly enjoyed the program with our older daughter and now we are equally happy sharing it with our second child. We both look forward to "Music Day" and eagerly anticipate this time that we share together.

Our children love Musical Munchkins. Our son has been coming since he was 15 months old and is now almost five. We have just enrolled our 8 month old daughter. Musical Munchkins has become a part of their weekly routine and they look forward to each and every class. I am a music teacher in a public school district. The content of the classes are very informative in a fun and creative way. All of the lessons are very age appropriate. I have actually used of some of the songs and ideas in my own classroom. Our son has learned many musical skills and concepts and has grown to appreciate music. His creativity has flourished. He loves to make up songs and improvise on instruments. The teachers are very knowledgeable and incredibly fun. We have had Musical Munchkin birthday parties which are always a big hit We highly recommend Musical Munchkins as part of every child's early years.

My daughter Alina began Musical Munchkins when she was 10 months old and she is now approaching 16 months. We both look forward to seeing the “kids” (as she calls them) and her teacher every week. Musical Munchkins has been a source of joy for both me and my daughter. It is a special time to spend together and with other children and their parents. You can feel the love and joy exuding from each member of the group…and the smiles are a constant. Friendships are formed and memories are made each time we enter the classroom. Alina has learned so much from Musical Munchkins. Not only has she learned songs and finger plays, but she has learned how to walk and talk, explore, and connect with people. I truly believe her enthusiasm for walking came from watching her classmates cruise around the room to “Here we go a walking, walking, walking…” As soon as I would begin to sing (or even hum the tune) she would grab my hands and off she went! In the area of language and cognitive skills development, I am amazed at what the children remember from class to class and what they carryover at home. As a speech-language pathologist, this is the area that intrigues me most. My daughter amazes me every day when she connects something at home to a Musical Munchkins song or activity. Musical Munchkins has clearly enhanced all areas of Alina’s development. I have also enjoyed watching the other children grow and I know Alina learns from watching them.

My 18-month old daughter, Callie, and I have been doing Musical Munchkins since January of 2002. She has developed a great love of singing, playing musical instruments and a strong awareness of rhythm and melody. Callie's teacher is very attuned to the children and their developmental needs and provides a learning atmosphere that is fun, nurturing and creative. Her love of music and enthusiasm is sensed by the children, who respond in kind. Musical Munchkins is a fantastic program! It has introduced my child to a multitude of songs, instruments, and props. It is a warm and loving environment that encourages the children to embrace all aspects of music. I love the fact that they allow the children to be who they are-- whether they are outgoing and full of participation, or whether they are reserved and prefer to sit back and take it all in. Children learn in different ways, and Musical Munchkins accommodates everyone's learning style. They do this by allowing the children to be the individuals that they are. This class is 45 minutes packed with fun, happiness, and creative expression. My child has a love for music that is beyond reproach. I attribute much of that to Musical Munchkins.

Sarah started Musical Munchkins as a very shy one year old. Now, almost three, it has been an amazing journey. Through careful instruction and the thoughtful attention of our teacher, we've watched Sarah go from a child unsure of participating to a child who is first in line to pretend to be the teacher. The class provides enough repetition and structure to allow the children to absorb the material, while presenting new, creative material that catches their attention and encourages them to focus. My son, Charlie, now one year old, also attends Musical Munchkins and (while not at all shy) is beginning to learn focus and listen so that he too can actively participate. Both children absolutely love Musical Munchkins and as a parent I very much look forward to the class--it has been a wonderful opportunity to watch my kids learn about music in a social setting.

Both of my daughters love Musical Munchkins. My oldest daughter (who is nearly 6) attended "music class" for 3 years and really loved it. Not only did she learn about singing and playing instruments, but she also learned how to have fun taking turns and cleaning up! She met some good friends by attending her weekly music class. In fact, she loves Musical Munchkins so much that she is thrilled to attend her younger sister's class whenever she can!! My younger daughter is 2 and in her first year of Musical Munchkins. Attending class is really improving her social skills - she LOVES running (or walking, or marching, or galloping) around with the other kids. Some of her other favorite activities in class are chasing bubbles, watching puppets, shaking shakers, banging drums, and "monkey-rocking". The whole program is well run and wonderful for kids (and parents) of all ages.
