 We
are so grateful to be celebrating our 15th year of making music in the
Hudson Valley. Since its inception in
1982, Musical Munchkins®
has had a knack for nurturing
that special musical sparkle waiting inside each and every child. At Musical Munchkins, we know that
children are the real experts when it comes to making music because
their expression is one of pure joy and passion, which is what
making great music is all about. We take our cues from them. Each
child has her own unique voice, his own special groove. When you
know how to nurture this from a young age, “special” musical skills
and abilities can spontaneously emerge in every child.
In our focused, intimate, age-specific classes, we teach you how to
coax out this special aptitude in your child. One-on-one music time
with your young child is the single most important predictor of
future musical ability. Plus, it’s the good stuff, the stuff you
will remember with a heart pang when they are grown. Others may
marvel at how gifted your child is musically. While you
proudly acknowledge this, you’ll also know something
that
other parents might not-- someone showed you how to nurture it.
Over the years, Musical
Munchkins has consistently received high acclaim for its programs with
Babies, Ones, Twos, Threes, and Young Musicians. Winner of the Hudson
Valley Parent Magazine Award for Best Children’s Music Classes, classes
meet once weekly for 45 - 60 minutes. A free curriculum based CD comes
with registration.
