——————————————————————————————————————————-DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES
Foundations (babies & young 1’s ) 5mos to non walkers 45 minutes
✨ Bond with your baby through music, play, and joyful connection.
Bond with your baby through joyful music and play! Bouncing songs, peek-a-boo games, tickling rhymes, baby massage, and dancing nurture early sensory development and natural musicianship. Shakers, large gathering drums, Live guitar and recorded music make every class engaging, while babies respond with smiles, giggles, and coos. A sweet time for connection— !
Stage 1: Toddler Jamboree (Ages 1 & 2 yrs old- 10mos-2yrs ) -45 minutes
✨ Toddlers move, sing, and play their way into early musicianship.
Toddlers discover the joy of music through movement, rhythm, and play! With drums, bells, tambourines, bubbles, scarves, and more, children build coordination while exploring sound. Bouncing rhymes, chants, and favorite songs encourage early singing, while movement games and instruments help little ones walk, play, and sing with growing confidence.
* Younger and older siblings are welcome to enroll.
Stage 2: Kids Jamboree (2 & 3 yr olds, (2-4 yrs) -45 minutes
Independence Day is here with songs, movement, and instruments.
“I can do it myself!” At this stage, children explore independence while building listening and singing skills through echo songs, call-and-response, and movement games. They’ll march, tiptoe, gallop, and play a wide variety of instruments—discovering fast vs. slow, loud vs. soft, and the joy of group music-making. By year’s end, children will play together in an ensemble and even try a solo!
👉 Younger and older siblings are welcome to enroll.
Stage 3: Preschool Jamboree – 3-5 (50-55 minutes) - ***
✨ Preschoolers discover the magic of ensemble play, instruments, and imagination.
STAGE 3 : Imaginary play is one of our favorite ways to help preschoolers broaden their musical horizons as they begin to discover the joy of playing and singing together in an ensemble. Children are introduced to our full range of instruments—gathering drums and including our beautiful Orff instruments such as glockenspiels and resonator bells—and begin orchestrating familiar songs with more than one instrument.
They’ll delight in learning to be a conductor, acting out songs, exploring simple dances, and experimenting with solo, echo, and group singing to develop strong pitch and vocal skills. We also introduce musical notation and music vocabulary in fun, age-appropriate ways. Puppets, props, and creative movement continue to enrich their experience, while exposure to classical, folk, and world music expands their cultural awareness. *** This class is designed for children and teacher= We will start out with caregivers in class and transition to without. At the end of class we will make room for an activity with your child. We have a very gentle way of separation- and you may stay in the room if needed as a parent helper. Parents of 3 year olds must be on premises at all times..
